Question: I thought that Euclid University did not exist as a degree-granting institution but only as a consortium working through its member universities. Is that information incorrect?
Answer: This was true until June 2008. With the entry into force of the intergovernmental treaty establishing EUCLID (also official named Euclid University and Pôle Universitaire Euclide) defined as a free-standing, chartered, degree-granting institution. The treaty also specifies that the degrees issued are accredited by the Ministries of Education of the participating states. The information on the Euclid University Consortium web site will be updated and corrected to reflect this evolution.
Question: I enrolled in a program via the Euclid University Consortium, assuming that I would receive a joint degree from the member schools. What has changed?
Answer: Nothing has changed at this time. Euclid University is now a member of the Consortium and will add its degree-granting authority (primary granted) to the other member universities.
